During his lifetime, Eliot kept very good records of all his work. Notes, provenance, exhibition history and photos were well documented. Now, the Estate is organising new digital photos to accompany each of his paintings.
The catalogue raisonné and its progress will be online with low-resolution images for the enjoyment and interest of viewers. The Estate intends to publish a book once all or as many as possible of the paintings have been found, but this is likely to take a few more years.
If you are the owner of an Eliot Hodgkin painting or drawing, the Estate would be delighted if you could get in touch via email@example.com – photography can be arranged at no expense to the owner and ownership will be kept strictly confidential.
