Eliot Hodgkin Exhibition at Waddesdon 2019

The Estate of Eliot Hodgkin is delighted to announce the first major exhibition on Eliot Hodgkin since the Hazlitt, Gooden & Fox retrospective in 1990. Brought to Life: Eliot Hodgkin Rediscovered will take place at Waddesdon from the 23rd of May until the 20th of October 2019.

Eliot Hodgkin: A Memoir by Brian Sewell

Brian Sewell was a great friend and admirer of Eliot. In early 2015, The Estate of Eliot Hodgkin asked Sewell to write something for the forthcoming Eliot Hodgkin book. The Estate of Eliot Hodgkin is compiling a catalogue raisonné

During his lifetime, Eliot kept very good records of all his work. Notes, provenance, exhibition history and photos were well documented. Now, the Estate is organising new digital photos to accompany each of his paintings. (more…)
